for exploring the entire lake district. There are many options for
hiking, -
1. Mr. and Mrs. Herridge were two very friendly British people and can speak both English and German. They were helpful with our travelling plans and offered very good service.
2. The appartment was big, clean, well furnitured and warm in winter.
3. From the bedroom we had a very good sight of the Alps.
4. Covenient traffic: the Bahnhof is only 5 minutes away and trains connect Hallstatt and other beautiful towns. City centre is also very near where you have everything.

Everything was perfect. One of the best appartments or hotel I have ever stayed in.
Great peaceful location with beautiful views. Wonderful meadow nearby, cosy garden. The house itself is also great, with nice wooden interior and lovely atmosphere. Very spacious room with large balcony. Everything was very clean and fresh.

The owners were really friendly and helpful. We were there to go hiking and the owners gave us lots of good ideas for routes. The location is very beautiful with views from the guest house overlooking the lake Wolfgangsee. Easy to walk into St. Wolfgang and to find restaurants for the evening. Breakfast was really good. The free wi-fi worked well.

The Ramsauer family went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable & possible. Christopher picked us at the Salzburg airport since there were no buses running late. Gerlinde took the time to take us everywhere for our sightseeing trips & gave us good tips where to go & what to see. Will highly recommend their place- we had balcony with lakeview

The surroundings are absolutely fantastic with beautiful Mountains. The staff were very generous and friendly and it was a joy spending the night at their lovely land-hotel. The room has a wonderful view of lake Hallstatt and Mt. Dachstein. Elisabeth, the owner of Apt. make trip so easy for us, she is a great host. It felt us that we stay at our own house. Its clean and warm. Probably staying at Obertraun is better then hallstatt which is less touristic and more close to Mt. Dachstein.
