Perisher Blue Ski Resort is a 50-minute drive away All apartments are heated, and contain laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. Each apartment has satellite TV, an iPod docking station and a DVD player. Thredbo Lantern Apartments offers ski, snowboard and luggage storage facilities. Guests can enjoy many local activities, including horse riding, skiing and white water rafting.

We arrived rather late in the evening, they left our key and instructions for us and turned on the heat which was much appreciated! The apartment was as advertised with a very large double (triple?) bed and a sofa bed in the lounge room. The view was magnificent of the mountain, and the staff were very helpful. The apartment was spacious, had all the essentials to ensure our stay was comfortable. It was close to the village centre as well as close to the main road. It was clean and the facilities provided was a great quality. We really enjoyed our stay as it meet our needs absolutley. Thank you.

Not to mention the view, which was awesome - Lantern probably has the best view in Thredbo being higher up the valley. And the staff were welcoming and cheerful. Would definitely stay there again. Stayed here before and pretty much like everything. views are amazing due to location. Apartments in pretty good condition. Good layouts for families. Location was perfect for me as I was there to do some road bike riding through the mtns and Lantern is located both close to the road and restaurants. The apartment was modern, had great views and decent balcony, was a good size for 2 people and everything was easily accesible form its location. Self contained clean and comfortable apartments with an amazing view. Friendly, helpful staff. We really enjoyed the view over the mountains and great facilities. Location and views are wonderful. That I didn't stay there longer. parking a bit of an issue but that is the same with most places in Thredbo. Lack of amenities. I left Sydney on Friday night after work and arrived at 10:30pm, with the plan of being out on the bike by 7am next morning. Some basics like tea/coffee/milk etc would have been nice. I was completely surprised to find nothing of that nature. I have travelled extensively for decades and in some regions out of necessity in much cheaper accomodation (although usually more expensive), and this is the first time I have experienced this. Lack of parking. Parking facilities, sofa bed not the best. Fold-out sofa bed was very uncomfortable. N/A. Steep stairs and access to resort facilities are definitely for fit visitors. I got a patio room, it was same as mentioned in the booking. Booking should tell me more about the facilities e.g. it's ground floor room with limited views. I would have upgraded my facilities.
