The staff were very friendly but not in that it's my job kind of friendly. The location was central to everything. It was also close to public transport if we wanted to go further than a walking distance. A map given to us at the front desk was very helpful. Check in staff marked where we were on the map. Made it easier for planning our shopping and tourist attractions. Well done Park Regis, after checking out of our first horrible hotel to find you was heavenly. It makes us want to come back t. tutti gli commenti dei clienti
Arrived from the usa to Australia and was allowed to check in early.
Front desk staff was Excellent. They were very helpful and
knowledgeable as was our first time there! Hotel is clean, bed is very
very comfortable and had plenty of hot water! (That was from other
post we read before we got there!) Hotel in an excellent location in
the cbd. It's not a luxury hotel but it would be a hotel I would
choose again.
The location was absolutely amazing. The hotel is right in the heart of the city (next to QVB and townhall station) so moving around is extremely easy. One can walk to both Darling Harbour and Circular Quay.
Also has a few eating places (Subway, starbucks and Kebab shops) where one could just grab something and move.
They also have a small rooftop plunge pool with fantastic views of the city.
Friendly, helpful staff on the front desk. I felt very secure.
Comfortable bed.
Pleasant temperature, windows that open. Some Street Noise is to be expected. Walls quite thin so keep this in mind.
I loved e View from the roof. Lovely place to take some food and wine. There is a table set up there.,also a pool. The feel was residential, more than Hotel. Highly recommended.
We stayed in one of your suites on the eigth floor and enjoyed factors such as......opening windows, plenty of milk in the fridge, biscuits! Extra towels and a blanket in the wardrobe. The small things that make a difference. By comparison with the hotel we stayed in the previous evening (which had a extra star rating to yours) your hotel was far superior.
It had everything you needed in a hotel. Even the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner was given in large quantities. Loved the location as QVB was just down the road. Subway restaurant was next door so it was easy to grab something to eat before returning to the room. Basically loved everything about this room. Perfect for a solo traveller.
The rooms were a great size - quite spacious compared to other Hotels in
same area. It's very close to Pitt Street where I needed to go;
close to Mono Rail station and Town Hall Station - close to everything
really. Given the cost of the room, I was really very happy and would
definately stay again.
Excellent friendly staff.
Good location with many food and supermarket options.
Shopping very short walk, as were most destinations.
They didnt promise anything that was not delivered. The triple rooms were quite basic but represented what was outlined on their website.
They were clean also.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and
comfortable. My partner and I stayed at another hotel which we
weren't satisfied with, and chose the Park Regis for our final night
in Sydney. We would both like to return to the Park Regis on our next
trip to Sydney.
I was on the 13th floor, room was great a lot of space.
On the top floor there was a swimming pool but not working. the best thing of this hotel is the central position and the kindness of the people at the desk. shuttle service to airport 14$ and booked directly by them for you.
location - close to city and all attractions of Sydney. Everything within walking distance means you don't spend valuable shopping money on transport :-). I would stay at the Park Regis again. Really great staff, helpful, friendly and efficent.
Brilliant location. QVB just down the street, next to Subway restaurant and the Coffee Club for easy access to food. Friendly staff. Had a problem with a jammed toilet door and they immediately moved us to a larger room even at 11pm at night.
The location is just great and the staff is very helpful. I did not how to connect on Internet and one of the staff, Brian I think I'm not sure, even came up to show me how to connect on internet. All the staff was friendly and helpful.
Very impressed with all staff, attention to detail in room and requests given where possible.
Directions and interest points shown overall, excellent interest by staff and will book with you again and recommend to friends and family.
Nice modern contemporary style. Great location in the city, close to buses and trains and major shopping precinct. Well priced city stay. Lovely fluffy towels. Tea/coffee facilities. Would recommend this hotel.
Upgraded room complimentary bottle of wine as our honeymoon m aged to get in room early as we had been travelling for 36 hrs . Would thoroughly recommend . Great position for touring Sydney we walked everywhere.
-Fantastic location! As I am familiar with Sydney CBD, everything was extremely close. Most of the time, I just walked.
-Rooms were clean and cosy.
-Staff were very helpful
-Great for a short stay in Syd.
The staff at this hotel were amazing from the time we arrived to the time we left. Happy, friendly and professional. Couldn't fault the service of any of the staff members, a credit to the hotel.
Staff very helpful. Location of hotel is fantastic, right in the middle
of the city, near several train stations, Hyde Park, etc. Shops and
cafes/restaurants all around. Reasonable room prices.
Paid way less to what it was worth, very clean, close to locations of going out. Second time staying here and would stay again and again. So convent with parking and resonably priced.
I liked having an option to have 3 single beds. It is so hard to find
that in a lot of hotels. Staff were nice and friendly and always happy
to help. It's in a really good location!!.
close by everything ... easy walk to shopping centre, bottleshop, restaurants, train stations etc
good bang for buck hotel, decent accommodation for a good price and rooftop pool.
Staff were quick to respond when hot water system didnt work one morning - was given a new room straight away. Very friendly staff, especially lady on reception with glasses.
As it was raining the two days we spent there, had verandah cover to go shopping over most of the city. Would definitely stay again if returning to Sydney. Ideal position.
The Park Regis was especially clean and in an excellent location. It was quite but in a busy area and the staff were always helpful. Great facilities and very comfortable.
location and sense of safety. Staff very nice and helpful, cleaning staff very kind. safety is first priority when travelling alone. Lovely view of St Mary's Cathedral.
Location was great
Staff helpful storing luggage
Mints on the counter!!
Great laundry
Bed was comfy
Thank you for chocolates on arrival
Excellent view from 45th floor.
The location of the Hotel in regards to the attractions of the city centre and Circular Quay. Easy walking distance and availability to all the transport facilities.
All that we needed, and great location, just minutes from the train station, hyde park and all shopping needs.
Walking distance to kings cross and darling harbour.
The closeness to all the shops, easy check-in and very comfortable beds! We were updated to a king and single bed instead of 3 single beds which was really nice.
Good location, not too far to walk anywhere . Wonderful view from the top floor. As I had been travelling it was good to be able to have the use of a laundry.
Staffs were really friendly and helpful. Good location in the heart of the city near the harbour and Opera House. Roof top view was magnificent as well.
- close to trainline
- counterstaff were friendly and helpful
- within walking distance to most tourist venues
- room was clean and comfortable.
the central location was great.
Facilities fine and staff helpful
Ease of booking
Outlook to the park beautiful.
Transport all around us .
Tidy, good location, really good service, carpark in facilities is so safe and secure and really continent. Staying here again next month.
Great location, close to shops, theatres and restaurants, and free bus to circular quay. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Clean.
10min walk from darling harbour & oxford st. Excellent central location. Walk to nightclubs and home again easily, even in heels.
LOVED the views from the rooftop. Best view I have seen in ages, that was the highlight for us. Swimming on the rooftop was fun too.
The location was good, quite central, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. Most staff members were polite and professional.
The location and the view up to William St towards the Cross. The roof
top swimming pool with its Sydney wide vista. The king bed.
I liked the hotel's cleanliness nice staff and quiet on my floor (11). I was also close to good eating arrangements. Thankyou.
Excellent location. Close to Town Hall station, the QVB,Westfield shops including supermarket.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The location was perfect for us, and we loved the view of the city. The
room was lovely with a very comfortable bed.
Staff are always friendly and professional. Comfortable beds and rooms. The best location to everything in Sydney.
rooftop deck and pool with great view of Sydney. Good value and excellent location in cbd and short walk to train.
The location, friendly, clean, helpful and would certainly have no hesitation in staying again. Would recommend.
Close to hotel, shopping at woolworths, close to darling harbour, circular quay, starbucks, buses trains.
No hassle at all when checking in as the staff at the counter are efficient. Clean and friendly staff.
Close proximity to the city including places to eat and shop. Comfort of room and the friendly staff.
Location was great, room was a good size (I believe I had a larger room than most), service was good.
The shower is not enclosed. Just a curtain that wraps around behind you.
That was my only problem but certainly would not keep me from staying
there again!.
The room was a bit smaller than expected but everything else there was fine.
Housekeeping could be improved. I was there for three nights and would have liked my sheets changed. did not think I would have to ask as there are signs for towel and sheet change. Some areas in bathroom were grimy. And bathroom did tend to become a swimming pool.
Our only criticism would be that having the suite next to the lift, the noise was constantly disturbing our sleep. Possibly changing the layout by swapping the bedroom to the sitting room could alleviate the noise issue.
For a solo traveller it is fine but size may be an issue for those travelling in large groups. For those who love taking baths, there is no bath tub if you take the budget double room, only a shower.
The bed was very hard and quite uncomfortable, I'd probably check
that out prior to booking next time as my colleague didn't have same
issue on another floor. The floor in the bathroom was very slippery, but
a few towels on the floor fixed that.
The only thing my partner and I didn't like about the room was the
size of the bathroom and shower. The shower was quite small and an
awkward shape.
They charge you 2$ to leave your luggage the last day;.
Noisey - could do with double glazing, but saying that it is a city and you have to expect traffic noise. Pack ear plugs, like I did, and its not an issue.
Nothing.
I did not asked for the sheets to be changed for a few days, but when asked (I did not put that note on the bed) the sheets had not been changed. The room was not properly cleaned. The bathroom is very small.
Nothing really , all good.
-Bathroom is quite small.
-I went to go on the lift and it didn't have my room number?? (14).
We stayed in room 1213 and it was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in.
Definitely didn't like lack of soap in shower! I asked the maid and
she said that I could use the container on wall (outside shower)
labelled 'hand soap', which meant I had to keep pressing the
container for a tiny bit of liquid soap each time I washed a
limb.Otherwise, she said, I could go down to the supermarket and buy
some! Not good enough! A cake of soap is not too much to ask!.
Can be noisy due to traffic and took us a good half hour to check in due to only one person at the desk at a busy time.
The elevator being out of order so it got crowded. But these things
happen. I could not stand the smell of the hand soap. And I don't
like shower curtains. They seem dirty.
lift card is different to room card and only 1 per room.
lower levels a bit noisy.
There was no complimentary wifi and internet prices were rediclous so that made it hard to do work while in the room and the lifts were quite slow depending on the amount of people in the building but other than that, it was excellent.
Couldn't find any chinese restraurant nearby!.
Lift system
Renovations on 45th floor---if we had children it would have been disappointing to FIND pool closed.
Hotel a bit tired-needing work which may be planned??.
Size of bathroom but this was a small price to pay in regards to the p[position of the Hotel.
Noisy neighbours coming in and banging doors in the middle of the night!.
Would have been nice if the pool was available. There was no notice to say it was closed.
Room could have been a bit more spacious considering the costs. The room was a little dirty.
- only one lift working, so it can be a wait for the lift during check-in and check-out
- rooms across and adjacent to lift are affected by lift noise.
Stained linen
Underbeds not clean as we moved one to suit us.
mould in the bathroom.
TV no power made three requests to get it fixed.
Water pressure was bad and had paid for a king bed to find we were just sleeping on two single beds put together.
Tiny bathroom with useless cuboard and one very small shelf, nowhere to put makeup etc.
Could always be cheaper.
A fold up bed parked across our doorway when we were leaving - just as
well we are pretty fit or we'd have been stuck! The room facing
Castlereagh St was noisy even with the windows closed.
The shower needs grab-rails for stability of the older person.
Rooms were small.
Loads of street noise.
The surprise of the window cleaners appearing at our window.
Nothing. Always nice to stay there.
Dark hallways, a little shabby, needed paint/ updating.
The noise that was made on my last nite from the room next door was too loud and disturbing. The din went on passed midnite.
Size of cups for coffee and tea. Mugs would have been nice.
The water system is old and problematic, they are aware of it and give you instructions on how to work the hot water system but it still wasn't great. I felt like I was wasting water trying to shower between the temperature increases and decreases.
