The Shingles Riverside Cottages are only a 3-minute drive from New Norfolk town centre. Hobart city centre is just a 35-minute drive away. Guests at The Shingles Riverside Cottages New Norfolk can swim in the solar-heated swimming pool, enjoy a spot of fishing from the private jetty, or use the BBQ facilities to cook a meal by the river. All accommodation includes heating, air conditioning, electric blankets and a TV with DVD player. Most also have cooking facilities. Breakfast provisions for the first night are provided.

This property exceeded our expectation. The staff were only house sitting for the owners but you would never have known. They were so pleasant and helpful that they should think about doing this kind of thing on a regular basis. The rooms exceeded our expectation as did the setting. We would highly recommend this to anyone passing through or planning to stay in New Norfolk. A very nice place to stay, we could have stay here for a week, cosy atmosphere in modern decoration, good kitchen equipment, warm bedrooms, spa in the bathroom. free range eggs, milk ,juice and bread in the fridge, cereals and cooking supply in the cupboard. We will come again.
