The Chalet was so beautiful. The two owners where lovely, so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even bringing us home made muffins that were not eaten at breakfast for afternoon tea. They showed us around and talked about their art and it was almost like we had known them for ages! A beautiful stay, and I look forward to hopefully going again. During our too brief stay, we appreciated the friendly, caring and warm welcome. The quiet location easily accessible from Sydney, Jenolan Caves and Leura, the ambiance of the guest house, full of tasteful and eclectic plastic and visual contemporary art. A great find. I'll definitely come back to this place in Blue Mountains.

However, the hosts and their care and attention to detail and the needs of their guests is really the most welcoming and delightful experiance I have ever had. I travel widely nationally and internationally - but nothing I have come across compares to this little bit of heaven. Blazing log fire, in an old world setting, sipping a cool glass of wine in the perfect quietness. This place is one not to miss. Absolutely fabulous. Very relaxing. Lovely hosts. Beautiful artwork throughout the place, which has been presented with lovely antique type furnishings. Olde world charm to it, and thus great ambience. Away from traffic areas which enhanced it's desirability. Quiet pace of life there. Really nice chalet, excellent atmosphere, lovely reading room, extremely friendly staff. The restaurant inside is handly after been all day around. Food is excellent and value for money great! Romantic place all day long. most important I felt at home not in a Motel. Painting and art show a great taste of the man who choose it. The hospitality is so great. Its cosy, and we will remember it for ever. the house was very interesting with pottery and paintings David was very helpful with choosing a restaurant and he lit a fire for us in the evening. Loved the big bath and the cleanliness of everything. Was a great setting for a romantic weekend away from the big smoke!. Hosts were very genial and attentive. Fantastic building and furnishings - different, homely, comfortable, welcoming. Friendly and knowledgeable owners. Exceptionally clean with an eclectic art collection adorning a lovely old building. Lovely and outstanding interiors. House is full of arts, beautiful paintings and personality. Very recommendable. Beautiful house, log fire, comfy bed, artworks, breakfast, friendly hosts, quiet location. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. David made us feel very welcome. Room was immaculate. Friendly and very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Relaxing ambiance. The hosts were very friendly, and made you feel comfortable and relaxed. Atmosphere friendliness,furnishings, gardens, peace & quiet value. Excellent and friendly service, welcoming and comfortable place. We love everything!! The place is beautiful!!. A special place- really interesting. Tenant Davod is very friendly. I liked everything :). Nothing. There is nothing to dislike!. Hot breakfast included and you will be 10/10 !. There was nothing we didn't like. Nothing. Noise travels a little in a building of this age as you would expect. Nothing. I would have liked the continental breakfast to have been available earlier. I had an early start on the second day and breakfast was not available before I left. Nothing. Nothing's really, we had a great time!!. Cooked breakkie not included.
