Clean and tidy room. Bed was very comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. Situated right at the beginning of town (if travelling from Adelaide) and just across the road from The Crown Hotel, where they serve excellent meals. Our room was newly refurbished with quality bedding, furniture and equipment. Bed was very comfortable and motel situated in the township. This is surely the top spot to stay here.

We have stayed in Hay many times before and this motel was a pleasure. Clean and comfortable room. Good in room facilities. Easy to find after a long day travelling. Close to main street which made grabbing supplies for tea easy. Friendly management, ease of check-in, clean, new TV, meets expectations of a country motel room. Overall we were generally satisfied with the service and amenity of the accommodation provided. Good position right in the centre of the main street. Could view the TV from the toilet seat!. The friendliness of the staff. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. everything the room the breakfast was excellent well worth the money. Off the highway, nice and quiet. Location. Not much. No negatives at all!. All was great. Nothing - they've got it spot on. Very noisy. Family rooms to the front of the motel. Noisy trucks travelling past late at night and early in the morning. Gravel driveway in the centre courtyard added to the noise. For the price in a small town I thought breakfast could have been an add-on. The size of the family room - small. Also the only basin to wash your hand, clean your teeth etc was in the kitchenette area not the ensuite, so you had to use it for any food preparation or washing up. Not much. None. other guest. No fruit or yoghurt for breakfast Costs for breakfast a little high given what was supplied. Could do with a touch of paint Internet would be an attraction. Room was not serviced for 2nd night. Breakfast was served late second morning even with them being told I needed to leave early and I had paid up my account the previous night including breakfast on 2nd morning. Price was a bit high. On the return trip we stayed at a different motel in a different town price was $25 cheaper and included breakfast. Otherwise everything else fine. As given to you value down, service down, price increase. Bugs in the room. That you had to wash your hands where you prepared food. Warm hot water Air con warm did not turn below 18 dec's. Rooms were tired. But the new owners seem aware of this lets give them a chance to put their mark on the motel.
