Highly recomendable. Inti Watana offers a quaint blend of traditional craft and lore, with state of the art eco friendly architeture. Fabienne adds a touch of european finesse to the well known local hospitality. Juan relates ancient Inca astronomy with modern science while he explains the sun dial that he carefuly designed on their porch. Crunchy warm home made bread wecomes you for breakfast.

The estancia was beautifully maintained and it was very interesting staying in such a historic building. The location was in the centre of town, but the estancia is set back from the road. The owners were very friendly and informative, recommending things to do in the area.

Thanks to our poor Spanish we we did not realize what a Cabana really is and so we thought to book a nice double room. We were rather surprised when he arrived to small little hut all to ourselves – but in a very positive way! The view from our patio was fantastic, perfect for sitting out. It is 2km out of the main town but that is why the view is so great and a taxi is only 20 pesos ($3). Luiz, the owner, is lovely. He even gave us a lift into town, twice. Bread delivered and homemade jam for break fast too.
