I absolutely loved Baires Soho. The place is decorated well and feels super cozy. It was important to me to feel safe and the staff certainly did that for me. They keep the door locked 24/7 and always have someone there to buzz you in. The breakfast was delicious. Our room and bathroom was very clean. It's close to lots of restaurants, a shoppng district, and the intersection where all the bars are. The subway isn't very far away and taxis go by all the time. Had a great stay at Baires Soho, Carla speaks very good English, and was an excellent host. She helped me plan all my sightseeing and give me maps.
The location is perfect, only 10 mins walk to Metro, and only 5 mins walk to the bars and restaurants in Plaza Serrano.
Charming hostess Carla and her staff were very helpful to suggest places to visit. It is a site of peaceful tranquility in the lively part of Palermo with a nice inner square. Nice room with airco.
People were so nice, gentle, warm place, the location is excellent, close to historic places as well as parks, restaurant and lots of interesting things to do.

The bathrooms can use some renovation.
Messy pigeons roost on balcony outside front bedrooms. Garden area could
use a facelift. Furniture in downstairs area needs pillows and to have
dog odor removed. Breakfast is fine, but more variety of foods would be
an improvement. Refrigerator in common area not working.

when I was there it was hot and hence lots of mosquitos, very tiny bathroom.
The room was filthy, with hairs in the bathroom and on the pillowcase. The garden it looked out on was lovely, but people smoked in it constantly so to have the window open meant a room full of smoke (and mosquitos). The breakfast was paltry, but I saw another table with more food so it may be I just wasn't offered the same breakfast.
