  Me & my friend & her little companion daisy, had a lovely time the priory made our holiday, lovely staff we had a wonderful welcome when we arrived :)home from home, I've stayed in lots of hotels up & down the country 5 stars but I have to say the priory was outstanding they thought of everything, great breakfast, beautiful gardens, we... ce que les gens disent » will return, & can't Waite for our next visit :) - Just a short walk from the city centre, this is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The garden is beautiful, with ruins and lovely flowers, and big enough for guests (and their guests) to sit in the sun without being on top of each other. Nice that there is a bar, and a big car park just at the back..

  very welcoming, unfortunately, due to snow we had to leave early and we were given a discount due to this. We were expecting to pay full price, so this was a very nice gesture. - very good breakfast and friend staff.

  The staff that were there were excellant and could not do enough for us.. Its situation to york was fantastic only a five min walk. - The staff member we dealt with at reception was very friendly, helpful and always willing to help at any point.

  It was close to city centre, about 15 minutes walk. Cute little room with a comfy bed. Not a lot of frills, but didn't feel like anything I needed was really lacking. Had a cozy inn kind of feel to it. The staff was very nice and let us keep our car in the car park after we checked out so we could wander the city a bit. - friendly people , good b... ce que les gens disent » eer , cheap good accomadation , after reading some of negative reports was bit dubious , but we couldnt find anything wrong . the smell of the restraunt was unnoticable , the room was good , nothing falling apart as had been reported , we would definatley stop there again

  The Location of the hotel was only a 10 minute walk but after a few points and a walk around the town a taxi will cost you £5. Plenty of places to visit unable to cover them all but The market and the tr - I stayed at the York Lodge for two nights. Didn't really know what to expect after reading some of the reviews but I found it very comfortable. Just check in and then you can come and go, there's no reception or leaving your keys. Comfortable room and bed, generous supply of tea, coffee, etc, and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

  it was new years eve .we shopped ate and went into town for the local night life.we visited the museum and skating rink and had a wonderful time - The place was clean and comftable and is situated in a quite road but still close to the town centre
