Ce que les gens disent
The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Inn itself is lovely, very cosy and warm with open fires blazing. There was a good and varied menu. Vegetarians seemed to be well catered for - I'm not one, but there was a lot of choice. The room was quirky and well thought out. Access to the bedrooms was good, there was key fob access to upstairs from the bar or the car park, so you felt very secure plus there is free parking - always a bonus!. tous commentaires »
The room was spacious and homely. It was very clean on arrival and had everything as advertised. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and shower was of good power (not drizzling out like some hotels). The buffet breakfast was excellent with cereals, toast, jams, marmalade, chocolate spread etc as well as plenty of fruit, juices, tea and coffee (as much as you like) to choose from. Relaxing bar atmosphere in the evening.
we liked everything about this hotel, the staff were great the food was first class with plenty to choose from, our room was nice and warm a nice bed,and nicely decorated, with plenty of tea and coffee, our room was spotless with a nice shower and toilet,we would recomend to anyone, another benefit was the large car park,in all a first class hotel with a great breakfast to leave on.
Had a double room, bed was comfortable, the room itself was spacious and the bathroom was clean and bright
Plenty of breakfast options but nothing cooked. As breakfast was included in the price of the room, it was very reasonable.
Check out (12pm) is later than many other places we looked at to stay.
exceptional friendly & warm welcome, easy booking in , the lunch time meal was good value and well presented with prompt service , continental breakfast was first class complimented with good service , well done the team hope to see you again .
Parking was great. Evening meal was excellent and staff very competent and friendly despite it being very busy. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of choices. Room very comfortable and exceptionally clean and well appointed.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was excellent and
we enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect as we had to
drop our daughter off at raf Halton. We will definitely book again
later in the year.
Great friendly and efficient staff. Large clean and comfortable bedroom with great bathroom. Good restaurant to eat where the food comes promptly and staff are very helpful. All-in-all a first rate experience. Thank you.
everything. We would return again. We travel widely and over the years have stayed in many countries at many international hotels and the Innkeeper's Lodge is one of the best we have stayed in regardless of stars.
Pretty much everything, but people make the difference and all the staff
we engaged with were great - busy night too with a few Xmas parties
going on. Definitely go back if we're in this part of the uk again.
very quite place staff very helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble the room very comfortable and clean everything you would want for a night away large car park good quality food in the restaurant.
A nice, friendly clean hotel close to aylesbury where my friends and I were going to see A band. food was excellent and I appreciated the menu as I am A vegan. staff were very friendly and chatty.
Second time I have stayed at this hotel and enjoyed it both times. Not everbodies cup of tea with pine furniture but was fine for us.
Bar/restaurant is nice and cosy and food was good.
Friendly staff and other customers, good beer (it is a pub), excellent food - I particularly recommend the Mediterranean sea-bass. Clean room and the shower worked properly.
The lodge is a lovely place to stay, in a small village. The rooms were very comfortable and the continental breakfast had everything you would need to start the day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We dined in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good and reasonably priced with many options.

The room was an excellent size, well decorated and comfortable. Being attached to the pub was great, godd variety of menu and good quality food.
Clean room. Good choice of breakfast options. Quiet gentle background music in restaurant at breakfast time.
Easy access for vehicles.
I only stayed for one night but I could not fault it.
Didn't eat there but what I saw coming out from the kitchen looked very nice.
Informal atmosphere, easy going relaxed atmosphere. Very nice evening meal. Good parking and some space to sit outside in the sun.
Friendly staff at breakfast. The continental breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Took one evening meal also very good.
Spacious room. Good restaurant.
Helpful staff. Off road parking.
good location for our visit, nice place to eat (apart from one night) nice room on ground floor, plenty parking space,.
Very comfortable place to spend the weekend. Friendly staff, good food and beer, and a magnificent log fire.
Convenient to visit relatives nearby.

my guests loved their stay there, excellent environment.
Good value hotel with nice pub for the food and drink.
We loved the old feel in pub and rooms perfect for us.
know the aera so perfect for us have stayed before.
Rooms were clean and warm good value for money.
Stuff is excellent , welcoming and helpful.
Friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere.
The set up as a hotel as an overnight stay.
The food was excellent in the Restaurant.
That it was part of a quality restaurant.
It's a shame there is not a cooked breakfast. I would have liked to see some prepared fruit rather than a fruit bowl and better quality preserves and cereals if there is only continental breakfast on offer.
we liked every thing and had not one thing to complain about wish all hotels were of the same calibre.
Absolutely nothing. It was all great.
The only thing we can mention is that on arrival, we noticed quite a lot
of cigarette butts outside on the ground and around the patio tables
near to the entrance.
The potatoes in the roast where black and over cooked but the staff brought us more to the table!.
Heating in our room didnt work,It wasnt cold but I would have liked the option to put it on if required.Grout in the shower could be done with a clean.
Nothing comes to mind.
nothing.
Apart from the shower being a bit small everything was good in the room.
There was mould in the shower room.
Would have been nice to have the option of a cooked breakfast, but that said the breakfast on offer was perfectly adequate.
Nothing.
There was nothing to dislike.
Slight background noise from the air-conditioning unit servicing the public areas ~ most would not notice, but I did!.
No toilet brush !!!!
Breakfast slightly lacking for continental.
waited over 40 minutes for our main course on friday evening, 21st June, when it came the food was dry.
asked lady on breakfast duty on sat morning where bus stop was to aylesbury, she replied she was not an encyclopedia.
Some further upgrading needed with windows, difficult to open and close.
A bit too hot no stays on windows.
Bathrooms are a bit small.
room was a bit small and pillow was flat so woke up with neck ache, but that's my fault for not asking for another one like the card in the rooms says.
We arrived early and decided to have lunch in the bar. We ordered our meal and drinks and waited 20mins for our drinks and 50 mins for our starters. The food was edible but cold and bland. We did not go to breakfast as we thought it would not be nice.
bedroom furniture a little shabby and bathroom corner sink too small - however this may only be an issue with this particular room.
The breakfast was a little disappointing.
bed a bit on the hard side.
The car park early in the morning was noisy with workmen leaving in their vans.
room size and location, acceptable.
Food was expensive.
There is nothing what I didn't like, simply think great comfort for amount of money you pay.
Getting out onto the road when driving a car - a bush was in the way to get clear vision of oncoming traffic.
I didn't dislike anything really.
