  Everything! Warm welcome on arrival. Clear explanation of everything and a tour round of the rooms and facilities. Tea and cake in the comfy cosy lounge with a blazing log burner gave us the opportunity to chat with other new arrivals. The food was high quality, plenty of it and lots of variety and the preperation/cooking of it - Quiet village location with stunning views to lift the soul. Overlooking Wensleydale and Bolton Castle to the front with the River Ure threading through the wooded hills to the rear. Room 1 with the 4 poster bed has a picture postcard dual aspect. Windows are double glazed. Good to have thick curtains at the windows. Beautiful white linen. Wide choice of breakfast foods on offer, including a lovely fresh fruit salad. Generous portions of cooked breakfast. Good selection of fruit and decaff. dr
