  helpful, pleasant staff, good, freshly cooked breakfast, killer views over river, open fires in bar, comfortable refurbished rooms, just looking for an excuse to go back. As you will see from earlier reviews refurbishment is ongoing, however bar, reception, breakfast/dining room and bedrooms are complete. Still some work in progress, and finishing ... ce que les gens disent » touches to be completed but a great find. - The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room fantastic, well appointed and clean. Breakfast in the morning was marvelous and three log burning fires on the go. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in and can highly recommend it, a great experience all round.
