Ce que les gens disent
Staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and the price was right. Large car park too. Historic building and Breakfast. Was late booking in but restaurant was open till 11p.m. The location of the hotel is the main reason for chosing the hotel. It offers adequate accomodation at a fair price.Convenient to town centre, place of work and river. WIFI access was also provided FOC. tous commentaires »
The check-in was efficient and the breakfast was good.It was close to where I was working. Slept and ate breakfast.Very good indian resturant connected to the hotel. Reasonably priced and central. Bedroom was clean. Female reception staff were very helpful and polite. It was convenient for my stay. The free wifi that worked after the second day of my stay (they first gave me access to a wifi which range didn't extend to my room). Close to IBM training center. Close to a big supermarket to buy something edible as substitute for the hotel's breakfast. The fact that the receptionist let me use Internet on its personal computer for more than 2 hours as it was very important to me getting information. No evrything was fine. There were Some problems with hot water, but they were operatively solved. There was not quiet on the afternoon (some parts of hotel were repair) -but it can be ok in the next (when I was here at first, it was ok, too). The musty smell in the bedroom.Reminded me of an old folks home. Inconveniently placed light switches above the bed. The room I stayed in was noisy and the mattress was very lumpy - had a bad night's sleep. When I told the receptionist she wasn't inteterested. It was a bit pricey for what I got given it was not in London. Everything feels/looks worn out. I sometimes had hot water. It was quite noisy. A bit over priced. They tried to poison us by giving us yogurt for breakfast that was 13 days past the use by date! and the orange juice was off as well, it smelt repulsive. Room was very dirty with thick dust on the back of the door that someone had written 'clean me' in which they obviously hadn't.The bed sheets - no bag, the bed cover - with a stain , the fitted carpet - looks dirty and old, the bath - no good mixing of the hot and the cold water, small TV, no fridge. exterior of hotel looked unkept and untidy. Inside the public areas were in a poor condition. First bedroom given looked out onto an outside passsage that had boxes, old table and chairs stacked up over the window. At check in I wasn't given any information, and there was no guest information in my room. Almost everything. I was glad when I could check out. The bed was terrible, the blankets stinged, my room looked out on a back alley with a light just next to my window and all night noise. English breakfast was burnt... Worst hotel experience ever!. Very old Fashion Hotel -.
