Just over 1 mile from the centre of Sidmouth and the beach, Combe Bank Guest House has an award-winning garden, an exciting breakfast menu and frees Wi-Fi throughout. Each room has en suite facilities with environmentally-friendly toiletries and either a bath or walk-in shower. They all have ironing facilities and a hospitality tray with a selection of teas and coffees, biscuits and bottled water. In the morning, guests can enjoy cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and fruit juices, as well as a fried breakfast, eggy bread or omelette, smoked salmon and smoked haddock. Vegetarians or those with specific dietary needs can be catered for and evening meals, evening snacks or a packed lunch are available on request. A 20-minute drive from Exeter Airport, Combe Bank is located on the World Heritage Lyme Bay coastline. There is free parking at the property.

Very friendly and informative owners. Made us all feel very welcome and at home. Meals very good quality with a good selection to choose from. Clean, bright rooms. Convenient location to Sidmouth and surrounding places of interest. Well worth the money. We arrived late and got a very friendly and helpful welcome. The owner helped us find somewhere to eat on the Seafront. Our rooms were fine with everything we needed. The breakfast had a good selection all well prepared. All in all a great stay.

There is parking on site. The breakfast was excellent with locally sourced ingredients. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and the room was comfortable and quiet, overlooking a well kept garden. Comfy beds, tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom were excellent. Shampoo etc was really good quality. Friendly atmosphere. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Well appointed. Good bathroom, and great welcome and breakfast. Will definitely stay again. Perfect Hosts, Excellent food and accommodation. The atmosphere was so good and lots of laughter...like Home. !!. all electric wall points easily accessible and well placed. plenty of mirrors. excellently cooked food. The shower room is small but the shampoo, soap etc are lovely. lighting on the stairs was inadequate. Leaving after only 5 days. tiny en suite area too many cushions !. Nothing - was really enjoyable stay. Very short breakfast time. The WC in the en-suite bathroom (next to front-door) does not flush well - needs work !. Car parking is a little tight. Tight on space in both bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom was rather small,a rubber bath mat to use having a shower would have been much appreciated. Room was really too small for 2people although well furnished. Little room to wash or dress. Shower good but again not much room to dress. Bedroom was rather small and so was the en suite. I would like to have been told when linen and towells were changed' It was a little dusty. Bathroom much too small, had to dry off in bath as lack of floor space made it virtually impossible to dry off on floor. Toilet very difficult to flush. Had to take cistern lid off to enable flushing, even then it was very difficult to do so. Also there was no safety mat in bath to prevent slipping. Very bad for elderly guests whilst walking because of steep hill leading up to house. Location a bit out of town. Breakfast a bit measured, but quite good quality. A bit pricey for B & B.
