The Grainary is a working farm, with a B&B on the side, so if you like the atmosphere of a farm, off on the edge of the moors, you'll love it. Children are especially well catered for, as they have every imaginable farm animal in the fields near the house, plus dogs, rabbits, a ferret and certainly one or two I've missed. relaxed atmosphere. plenty of facilities. little things like shampoo/condition, bodywash and towels in gym/swimming pool etc. - just that nothing was too much trouble for the staff and that they made it a most enjoyable stay

I particularly liked the sea view room we had, it certainly lived up to expectations. Elaine and Tony, the owners, were a very friendly couple, they took their business seriously, but in a fun way. Situated opposite the harbour. the views from the front bedrooms were great. The room we had was spacious with tea, coffee, bottled water and toiletries provided. Bedroom and bathroom were very clean and there was a small table & chairs at the window so we could watch the world go by. The Proprietors Robert & Jo. The fact they don't want anyone to be disappointed & supplied a particular cereal just for me even though I only asked if they stocked them. Remembering where we'd been and asking how our trips went each day. Friendliness, making us all feel at home and always pleasant with guests.
