The setting was beautiful. Are welcome was very warm and it was clear from the onset that nothing was too much trouble when Chris came to meet us at our car and offered to carry our bags. Our room had fabalous views, I have never slept in a more comfortable bed and our breakfast was amazing. -

Lovely greeting from the owner. Food was wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were spot on. Whilst the room was lovely I would have liked some additional touches like some biscuits and herbal teas, a bin in the bedroom and the ability to turn the heating on. The Horse Guards lived up to its high rating...The room was spacious..spotlessly clean, warm, and comfortable.
Food was good and reasonably priced and hosts were welcoming and friendly.
Lovely quiet spot with country views( and rabbits!)....A perfect spot to relax and unwind and only a few minutes from Tetbury and Malmesbury......IWe absolutely recommend the Horseguards. A+stay.

After a few City hotels this was a breath of fresh air and gave us the relaxing vacation we needed. The rooms were very large, the beds so comfortable, hard to wake up for the delicious breakfast that was included. Dinner options available and certainly worth reserving the food was amazing. Can't decide on deserts, well go for their mini desert option - get to sample them all..... we were made to feel at home by the owners and the staff were super and so helpful. We loved it.

I booked last minute because of an office fowl up. I'm glad I did. They room was very well presented with comfortable bed and a shower that could strip the scales from a crocodile. The attached pub was friendly and well kept I had the rib eye hand carved and matured simply scrumptious and the right price. The facilities were good, we loved the cottage format with lounge and kitchen areas just a few some points to improve i.e. there was no milk or tea in the bedroom ( coffee and sugar) only this I am sure was a slip up

Very friendly staff with good food. The breakfast was delicious but beware of the portion size (huge). The coaching inn is in the centre of Devizes. Ask to see the cellars as they were part of a tunnel system that ran all around Devizes in the old days. Room No. 4 is said to be one of the most haunted in England.

The King John Inn is pub,restaurant and B&B of great character. We found it very clean,the staff were friendly and the food was freshly prepared and very good. Our 'standard' room had a good quality TV and coffee maker etc and the bed and bedding was of very good quality.

Spa was lovely and treatments were very good The shower in the room was the best I have ever been in. Nice breakfast. Very nice spacious rooms. -
