We were impressed by our first view of this hotel. Much better than expected as was Lowestoft itself. Car park just over the road from the hotel entrance. Easily accessed lift just by reception and very few steps for disabled persons like myself.

Brilliant Hotel, staff very polite, nothing was to much trouble, The Sunday Buffet was excellent and so was the breakfast the next morning, Room large & comfortable and warm, the bathroom was large and the shower was nice & hot and easy to work. the number of T.V. programs were excellent. the view from the enlarged bar/decking area was good, very very happy with our stay would recommend.

Staff at hotel were so helpful and went out of their way for us.. Breakfast was really good with a lot of selection of choices and meals in evening and were very reasonable in price as were bar drinks in prices as well. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable and quiet.

As ever the location is absolutely brilliant.
Pleasant staff providing a good service.
As regular visitors we appreciated the efforts made to deal with the weekend breakfast issue when the hotel is full with wedding guests - by advising of the best time and warning that there might be delays. so on the Sunday morning we took a stroll into Sudbury

A pleasant day for our stay so enjoyed a good cream tea on the balcony followed by Pimms (it was a surprise 70th). Later drinks in the bar seated on comfy chairs / sofa followed by an extremely good meal and breakfast the following morning.

Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite.
The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue.
Breakfast was excellent & service quick and friendly, a good choice of hot & cold.

Staff was accomodating and understanding as we had our daughter with us. The staff switched rooms to make us more comfortable. The hotel is only 20min drive from Cambridge, and although we worried about the car park, it is right in front of the hotel and very easy to access. Staff were very helpful - especially Simone on Reception. All staff were friendly and welcoming - including chamber maids and staff in the restaurant. Good value and lovely breakfast. Easy for a family with the restaurant on site.
