Room was clean with comfortable bed, practical shower and washbasin.
Toilet in separate cubicle. Staff were friendly and helpful and public
areas were clean and practical. I had read some unfavourable reviews
after booking, but in my experience the hotel provided excellent value

I booked 3 nights here as price was right. Room small and sparse but adequate for our simple needs.
The hotel is under a car park and besides a casino, bowling alley and cinema, like a mini mall enclave.
As this is budget stay - you pay for extras. Save 2 quids if you don't get room serviced during your extended stay.
Internet is 3 quids for 2 timed hours and signal available at the breakfast hall on 6th. It is fast though so that was fine.

We were interested in art galleries and museums and so the location was excellent. It was also close to an underground station and the Botanical Gardens. Our room was very spacious and clean. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

We booked 3 rooms at the last minute and did not notice that the rooms were not en-suite. We were concerned as we had an 80 year old solo lady in our party but everything was fine. Nice clean guest house and very nice owners. Good Scottish breakfast to send us on our way. -

The hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room far exceeded our expectations for comfort and luxury. The breakfast was quite delicious. All the facilities were excellent as was the location and Kilkerran should without a doubt have been awarded a higher grading. We would happily recommend this accommodation to anyone we know. -

Only met receptionist and breakfast waitress and waiter, all who were pleasant and willing to help.
The Hotel is ideally situated with a very nice view of Oban Bay and only minutes from the centre of the town. Hotel furnishings are a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. -
