All the rooms weren't the same which was really good mad it more individual. The pool was a nice extra and allowed you to relax. The town center is few minutes walk from the B&B where we had pleasant dinner. It was one of the best stays during our week sent traveling around Scotland. If you travel by car and visit Stirling castle, we recommend The Knowe Guest House to stay before or after.

about dinner, the options were explained to me and then the
receptionist said I could have dinner in my room if I preferred, which
sounded great. Food was good quality, if a little small in portion size
and quite expensive. I also took part in an all day conference the next

The rooms are very comfortable and staff very helpful. it is ideally located for the city centre and also has a very comfortable bar of its own.

The host was probably the nicest person that we have ever met!
Everything was great from the beginning when we found ourselves in the
hall till friendly good-bye. We loved the breakfast with haggis, real
feast in the morning! There is a warm, homely atmosphere in the house
and we will get back there sooner or later and maybe this time we will
