The room was lovely and spacious, comfortable and warm. As a sole traveller I had a twin room with settee and TV. The en suite bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water. It felt like a home from home. Beautiful decor. Very close to town and all amenities. Friendly and helpful owners. I shall visit again when I am next

This was our first experience of a B&B rather than a hotel and we were extremely impressed. Old Ivy is a renovated 13th century building and it is finished beautifully.
Pat & Tim were very warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They even left a card and chocolates in our room as it was our anniversary, which we really appreciated.
Breakfast was lovely.
We just wish we had been staying longer.

The room we had was lovely, well served with complimentary items in the bathroom. Beverages and water bottles were plentiful. Staff so friendly. You were made to feel so welcome and everything was explained clearly. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Everywhere was spotless. The breakfast was cooked to order and it was piping hot and so tasty. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends

As a PI guest, we had a voucher which gave us a buy one get one free at the restaurant which was great! Obviously, this was a promotion, so we're not sure how often this happens. The family room was excellent lots of space for two adults and two young children. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. The staff made us feel very welcome and very helpful! The Mountsorrel is a good guest house which has easy access for both Loughborough & Leicester & nearby countryside. It is well maintained & decorated with most elements a visitor might need. The owners are friendly & helpful. The parking is good too.

I was called on the day of my stay - wow never expected that. So lovely to feel that our custom is valued. We arrived later in the evening but the receptionist (could not see her Name - no glasses on!) was so lovely and friendly as was her colleague on the morning we left. Never been to such a friendly place. -

Rooms a third bigger than we imagined and recently refurbished. Heating efficient and responsive. Restaurant Staff extremely helpful and kind to my 90 year old Mum who was with us in another room. Did toast etc for us and really looked,after us despite cafe being very busy.
