  was only in the isle of man working unfortunately but this hotel was exceptional, the staff faultless, hotel was very clean in a good location right on sea front and the breakfast was amazing the menu was extensive and you could have anything i had full manx and it was cooked to perfection. hopefully i will get back to Douglas for a break and wil... ce que les gens disent » l definitely be staying at this hotel.Even the parking wasn't an issue as you can park outside overnight and all day in the car park 100 yds away for - This place was amazing! The room was beautiful and had an awesome view!!!! They even give you chocolates and have a nice sitting room where you can mingle with the other guest. You can see the horse trollies right out front and there is a stop to get on it right there also. Had an amazing breakfast! They also held our luggage after we checked out, since our flight wasn't till late in the day we wanted to explore but didn't know what to do with the luggage. Next time we come we will definitely s

  Like most hotels in Douglas it is now an old building, but everywhere inside the hotel was nice and clean and the staff where very helpfull. I was in a single room, but not too small and the shower was fine. The buffett breakfast, eat all you like, was good all three days I stayed, cerial, juice, bacon, sausage, eggs etc For me the location was ... ce que les gens disent » perfect on the front in walking diatance from the Queens Pub, up a very steep hill for the TT Races Paddock, the Electric Railway for the Laxey Wheel - great location just off the sea front, excellent shared sitting room - like home, friendly and very helpful proprietress, small but very comfy room with tiny ensuite shower room, sensibly and practically updated, fresh tasteful bedding, really comfy bed, light bedroom (sea-view rm on 2nd floor) adequate breakfast, especially for the price, and lovely female staff with her young son (5ish) helping out!   Excellent B&B in a large house in a line of upscale suburban homes on the road North out of Douglas. Overlooking the sea and Tram lines; quiet area. Margaret is the best hostess, keen to make you as comfortable as possible and ensure you enjoy every aspect of your visit. Breakfast choices excellent and innovative (ie: bagels, eggs, smoked salm... ce que les gens disent » on), well cooked and presented. Did not try her dinner menu (failed to realise it was available and unfortunately made alternative arrangements) but c - Margaret was very welcoming and friendly. We were upgraded to a large room with a massive bed, a large bathroom with luxury bath and shower. There was a walk in wardrobe and a TV which came out of a cupboard and could be turned to face the bed or the sofa. Everything was provided including free bottled water in the fridge, a vast array of coffee for the coffee maker, home baked cakes in the huge communal sitting room and even toothbrushes and toothpaste.
