  Had a great 5 night stay. Great location in the countryside on an easy to use bus route. No need to rent a car. Short walk to the coast through beautiful lanes.   Located in a lovely valley with beautiful gardens. The catering options were second to none - breakfast exceptional; dinner and bar snacks excelent value. Could not fault the staff, who were friendly and helpful. The room and bed were very comfortable and well appointed. We would definately not stay anywhere else on Guernsey, the whole ambience of the hotel was so relaxin - The hotel is in a truly stunning setting, looking out over a wooded gully, to the sea. Service was good, as was the food at both restaurants - it's well worth a trip to the Rock Garden for a few cocktails, too! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in Guernsey. Potential bookers should note that this is NOT in St Peter Port town but a rural location in the parish.

  Everything. From the first point of contact with this Hotel, this has been a First Class experience at Le Chene The Hotel is well managed..! Waiting Staff are in one word "Exceptional." Can't wait to return back in to G - Staff were helpful & friendly, the common rooms & bedroom were decent and well maintained. The hotel was correct value for money and I would stay there again. I usually stay in the centre of St Peter Port but in future I will enjoy a quieter location using taxi and/or my legs!

  What is there not to like? The staff are simply brilliant - it's really nice to be recognised and addressed by name. We had a great room with a sea view. The bars are very good as are the restaurants and yes you really must try the Governors Indian cuisine at its best!!   The room was lovely with a very large, comfortable bed. The toiletries were good quality, and we had a good supply of tea making facilities and biscuits. Which we were. - The hotel was more like a 5 star and the staff so friendly, they all made us feel so welcome.The breakfasts on the terrace were lovely.   Lady on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. We had not checked that the bed in our room would have no foot-board (I am 6'3") but she changed it to one without quickly and without fuss. Whenever we passed reception we got a big smile. such things make a big difference. We would definitely stay at Saints Bay hotel again. - Fantastic staff, the chef whose food is amazing very kindly took myself and another hotel guest to the Airport and back early in the morning. The room I had was well equipped and a good size. A very friendly place to stay.

  Wonderful Hotel , all the staff were fabulous, great view from my room over St Peter Port, lovely breakfast, freshly cooked to order. Room was very spacious, and comfortable, memory foam mattress , luxury bedding and toilettries, very fluffy towels ! - The service was excellent, all staff were very helpful and friendly and smiled..   My room was comfy and clean and the bed was beautiful! The complimentary breakfast in the nearby Abbey Court Hotel was absolutely delicious! The manager was very helpful and Charlie the Boxer dog was an adorable addition to reception.
