Second time staying at this hotel, and again not disappointed, we requested the room we previously stayed in and got it. The room was lovely with a lovely view the bed was huge and bedding crisp white sheets. We went for a relaxing breaki and got it. We did'nt eat our main meal at the hotel, from reading previous reviews its a bit hit and miss.

Warm welcome, really comfortable room, beautifully decorated bathroom, all absolutely lovely. While perhaps a bit expensive for the area, we felt it was excellent value for money.
Food was good too, my husband liked the beers and the staff were very considerate with my elderly mother. -

We had a lovely room, the facilities were what we required for an overnight stay. The cooked breakfast was excellent and service was friendly and relaxed. Overall the Wellington Arms suited our needs for a clean room to sleep in after a night at friends who lived across the road and was hosting a house warming party. -

The pub was family friendly with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The landlord was always about and making sure everybody was satisfied.
We were made to feel very welcome and Harry went out of his way to help sort any problems.
We will definitely be returning next year

We had a friendly welcome and where looked after really well.
At breakfast we ordered five different cooked breakfasts and the order was taken with no complaint and with help from the lady. The cooked breakfast was really nice and even the eggs where properly cook

The owners were hardworking, friendly and attentive. The location suited my personal purposes ideally and was close to fabulous Spa called Nirvana..only 6 minutes to trains and across road to Sainsbury's. The accomodation wing is separate from the hotel (Inn) and breakfast was good , however the home made chips(fries) were horrifically yum and the home made evening meal was brilliant ( I had Lamb shanks ) . the owner was very helpful. the room was commensurate with the prıce i paid and it was located wıthin an easy walk of the town centre. there was parking available on-site. Breakfast was more than adequate. -

Fantastic hotel. - It was quiet and peaceful, with the rooms set away from the main body of the Inn. The service could not have been better and the food was exceptional. Having stayed in lots of hotels, I would say that this was one of the nicest. 10/10
