Easy access to the main routes in and out of the city.
Landlord a pleasent chap quite accomodating and serves a decent pint of Guinness -
Friendly people, close to the town. Room was spotless and bed was comfy.

We were treated so well we felt like part of the family. Nothing was too
much trouble. We had a great conversations with the Landlord and all off
the Staff. The food we had was well prepared and nicely presented. Our
room was clean and tidy with sufficient storage space. We will

The staff were friendly and obliging and the food excellent. I liked the quiet location.,the ease of parking and the relaxed atmosphere.The room was of a generous size and comfortable and I was provided with a bath as requested.

the staff and the owners were absolutley fantastic they couldnt do enough for us. the position of the hotel couldnt of been better it was overlooking the river in a quiet spot but close enough to the centre to go shopping and a good night out. - i was there just for the night, and te staff was very helpfull and friendly

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable.
Great location for visiting Whipsnade Zoo as we were still able to walk into Dunstable in the evening where there were several good pubs and restaurants.

The breakfast was also phenomenal - we would definitely stay here again. -
I had read reviews and I wondered whether it could live up to expectations. It did more than this. I enjoyed the peaceful location and took advantage of the close proximity to 'The Downs' to have a Sunday morning walk. Needed the walk to burn off the extra calories from the excellent breakfast. Carmel was wonderful. She took time out to talk to her guests and had a good rapport with everyone.

Both comfortable and cosy, rooms were clean, modern and toasty warm, necessary as it was a very cold weekend. All needs catered for. Breakfast very good. A bit out of the way but my family lived in the next village with no suitable accommodation so this fit the bill perfectly. Will definitely stay again.

Booked the cottage and boy was I glad I did. Fantastic little place with superb gardens and all to myself. The meals in the restaurant were beyond reproach and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for a relaxing peaceful holiday and yet less than 10 miles from the A1. This is defiantly somewhere I will be revisiting .......

The hotel was excellent offering spacious and comfortable rooms in a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was amongst the best that I've tasted in any hotel or restaurant. The log fire in the lounge area only enhanced the experience of staying in a beautiful country hotel.

Very friendly lady that is running the place, clean, peaceful, romantic view, birds singing... just one hour drive from noisy and crazy London. Good starting point to explore Cambridge and Oxford and quite close to Luton airport. Recommend. -
Some customers have complained about the access road, but we found it good - no issue. Quiet location. C
