  The owners were very helpful and suggested some interesting things to see nearby. Lots of leaflets and dining ideas provided too. They definitely enhanced our stay and made us want to revisit the area for longer next time! Great location- 2mins walk to the sea, food options nearby. Free parking at the front of the property. Will definitely stay again. - The proprietors were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful when my mother became ill whilst we were staying there. The room was very clean and furnished with a modern taste. There was a good amount of tea, coffee, milk etc and a couple of small touches such as a chocolate and some biscuits made it feel special. The breakfast was well cooked and served promptly.

  We liked the friendly atmosphere of the Sea Spray. Ian and Pauline made us very welcome from the moment we arrived and made our stay most comfortable and enjoyable.   The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. After booking, they would sent an email to greet and offer assistance and answers on any queries or concerns. I was impressed with the earnest attitude from the owner, Tony. He knew I was going to run the Torbay HM next day and will have the breakfast at 7am. He was kind enough to pre-arrange it ... ce que les gens disent » on my arrival. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable. Apart from the coffee, tea and cookies, I particularly like the sweet. No wonder I had a g - Tony & Jill are excellent hosts and clearly enjoy what they do. The relatively small nature of their business allows them to be more personal and create a home from home atmosphere. The extra touches were a bonus. Breakfast was plentiful and really set us up for our bay walk to Torquay. We'll be back in the off season for some bracing walks along the prom ! - My criteria for this trip were simply: economical; close to train station; WiFi and ideally with breakfast. 5-out-of-5 all round for this place and the bonus of welcoming and friendly landlady and landlord was doubleplusgood. Breakfast well worth getting up for, clean and comfortable rooms and ideally located for public transport, walking and the town centre.

  We were in paignton for a wedding, and liked the fact that we had a key to the front door and were able to come and go as we pleased, the staff where very helpful in offering more facilities ie curling tongs and hairspray etc breakfast was very pleasnt and lots of menu choice, we also liked the fact that we picked our breakfast before hand. the br... ce que les gens disent » eakfast area was clean and tidy and you couldnt smell the cooking, (very off putting at some places we have stayed) - Beecroft Lodge is excellently situated if you want to explore Torbay. It is in a quiet street and is scrupulously clean and very comfortable. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with free range scrambled eggs, very good smoked salmon, fresh fruit and home-made marmalade. A real find.

  We liked the room we had, huge bed! Big room with sofa. Clean with good facilities. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of things to have. Owner was a nice friendly lady that made us feel welcome.
