The whole experience was Excellent. Jayne was very hospitable & went out of her way to assist. The conveniences of the room ie: plenty of coat hangers, plenty of milk giggers, a fridge at the top of the stairs to keep drinks cool, a selection of DVD's for our entertainment, a good array of toiletries & extra towels for our convenience.

My wife and I enjoyed a cheery welcome and lots of thoughtful touches which are not always expected in a B & B. The room was very clean & comfortable. We were attending a family wedding in the afternoon and it wasn't any bother to our hosts to pop back mid-morning and change. There was peace and quiet coupled with comfort and, of course the FANTASTIC breakfasts. Hope the plums in ginger are on when you're there. Utterly scumptious! The whole experience was stupendous and we will be stay

I re-visited The Rothesay earlier this month for a stay lasting five nights. As on previous occasions I was welcomed by the owner and shown to my room which I found to be both warm and comfortable. There was a good selection of fresh fruit on the breakfast table as well as the usual cereals etc., A big plus was that I requested an item not genera

The host was welcoming with complimentary tea and cake (genoa?) and informative throughout our stay. The room, ( superior), was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with cereals, juice, fruit and cooked breakfast prepared to order, piping hot. An indoor heated swimming pool was available. The Rothesay is well placed for shopping, eating out, Highcliffe Castle and the beach.Overall very good value for money.
