  The hotel was a very old 17th Century Grade 11 listed building. The rooms were to a very high standard as was the bathroom. The location was excellent, right in the town centre and easy access to bars and restaurants. It is a very old hotel - 16th century, and had many of the original features - beams etc., which gave it character. The food in the restaurant was delicious

  The room was beautiful , fresh & excellently presented with respect for the period of the house.both breakfast & Dinner were beautiful, simple, stylish perfectly prepared & and presented. Staff very friendly and room very spacious with king size bed. Menu on offer for evening meal looked very good and although we didn't dine on the night wish we had. Breakfast was plenty and to high standard. Would definitley stay again when in the area.
