Whitemoor House offers award-winning bed and breakfast accommodation in Lyndhurst, the largest village in New Forest National Park. Deer, ponies and donkeys wander freely around the surrounding moorland. A freshly cooked full English breakfast with vegetarian and vegan option is offered, or alternatives such as scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and omelettes. Guests can also enjoy Whitemoor’s homemade preserves and a selection of fruit, cereals and yoghurt. Rooms at the guest house all have a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. Some also feature scenic views of the surrounding forest. There is a guest lounge with leather sofas, a traditional coal fire, and a library of books, DVDs and games. It leads out onto a patio area and into Whitemoor’s peaceful garden. There are many beautiful walks and cycle tracks that start from Whitemoor House and, in the surrounding area, many local attractions such as the Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Buckler's Hard, the New Forest Wildlife Park, Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway, Mottisfont Abbey and walled rose gardens, Hurst Castle and Breamore House. Whitemoor House is a 7-minute walk to the village centre with a wide selection of pubs, restaurants and tea shops.

Everything. We wanted to stay an extra night but they were unfortunately booked up. John and Stephanie were very welcoming, room was lovely and clean and breakfast was excellent. The location is great as the New Forest is across the road but there are Restaurants and pubs within walking distance of the b & B. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends. Terrific B&B right across the road from The New Forest National Park. The bed in our room was one of the best we've ever slept in with beautiful, luxurious bedding. Our hosts John and Stephanie were delightful. I came away with 4 jars of Stephanies wonderful homemade jams that she sells to her jam admiring guests.

Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and cooked to order. The owners were a wealth of knowledge on the area and restaurants. Will definately go back again. The B&B is just across the road from the New Forest and we were made to feel very welcome. The room was very clean and had a very comfortable bed. Although on a main road it was very quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast too. It's so warm like home! Welcome tea, lots of useful travel information from John, and the best thing is - the lovely room and extremely comfortable bed! You will really enjoy staying there, for more days than you expected. Staff/owners, accomodation, location. As a well travelled couple we would rate this extremely highly. Not only can I not find a fault, but everything was done to the highest standard. Well done Steph and John. Every thing from the welcome to the farewell really felt at home and cared for whether that be around the hotel or with reccomdation for days out or places to eat. Would recommend to anyone going to the New Forest. Lovely friendly hosts. I shared a twin room (Beaulie Room) with my sister, which was spacious and had really comfortable beds!!! The decor was very pleasing and easy on the eye. Friendly welcome, Exceptionally high standard of accommodation, breakfast and cleanliness. Highly recommended and far superior in all respects to chain hotels experienced. There was nothing to dislike, everything was great, John and Stephanie were friendly, welcoming and would go out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant. Very nice couple running the B&B, good breakfast, good location for us as we were going to an anniversary dinner close by. The convenience of being near the centre of Lyndhurst, having somewhere to park safely and the delicious breakfasts. Extremely friendly and helpful owners. Gave us Lots of information about things to do and the best places to eat. Friendly and comfortable. Very generously left a bottle of Champagne (on ice) in our room for her birthday. Nothing we did not like. The room was a little noisy when you opened the windows - being at the front and over looking the road. Parking could be a little tricky when there are a few cars in the car park!. Leaving to go home!. Wasn't anything. It is near the busy main road through Lyndhurst so it was noisy, but I was warned about this before hand, so it isn't a complaint. Phone call to my home number at 8.15 on Monday morning to find out what time we intended to arrive. (9 am would have been ok). The House is on a noisy/busy road and we had a front room. Leaving. N/A. Nothing. Cannot say there was anything we disliked. Nothing. net curtains. Nothing.
