The room was great, very nice en-suite; the host were very nice and the breakfast was awesome! We even were able to get some washing done, which was great after being on the road for a few weeks already.. There was nothing we didn't like! -

The owner of the cottage was lovely, very friendly on the phone and in person, and made us feel very welcome. The facilities were excellent, everything you needed was there, everything worked, and the cottage was spotless. The location offers privacy yet is only a short drive from Loch Lomond's facilities and the mountains - will be back. -

As we only stayed 1 night en route to the far North we don't feel we could make a valid judgement but we did enjoy our stay and the friendly welcome we got along with a hearty breakfast. Mine hosts were both very pleasant and very helpful, Would have no qualms about staying there again. -

Excellent location and food in restaurant excellant,but rooms 7-9 are on the main road side and quite noisy. however we thought it was value for money and adequate room facilities and would definitely stay there again , we loved the lounge area! -

We took the. Breakfast in the package. Food excellent and cooked fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful except for last morning Fri. On fri breakfast cold ask for poach egg had to ask second time took 25 minute. My sister asked for boiled egg never got it. Ask for bacon as none left and it was raw. No cups jugs teaspoons either. Service very poor

Friendly staff. Comfortable and very clean. We liked breakfast in the Malt & Myers next door. Again staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was lovely, particularly the porridge.

Excellent value for money. Room was small and basic but also clean and comfortable exactly what we needed. Restraunt and bar facilities have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Full Scottish breakfast served with tea or coffee was excellent and a massive portion. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. -

the location was stupendous and we had probably the best room in the hotel for the view - the room was both spacious and comfortable and kept spotlessly clean - many of the staff were young but very professional and polite - the hotel itself was very quirky in its layout but we kind of liked that - the food we had at t-he hotel was OK nothing really to complain about but also nothing exceptional - the cullen skink however was delicious - however if we stay here again we will be mindful of the c

We loved our stay! Steve was so friendly and the rooms were so cozy and warm. It was an excellent location to se the lake area and walk around in the country park!
