Beth sent explicit instructions on how to get to the B&B when we booked, just as well as it would be a bit hard to find otherwise. However once you get there it is certainly worth it. We stayed in the annex which was both comfy and we'll appointed. The freshly squeezed apple juice from their own trees was fantastic. Very accommodating hosts.

Great size room, very clean. Kids loved the lounge room with the huge selection of games for them to play. Great to have the use of a very clean , fully equipped kitchen too. Would definitely recommend to others and use again ourselves.

Excellent service and personal attention as this is a small family owned and staffed business. Well located with free on-site parking. Large inviting garden area. - Overall our stay was very positive - great location only 10 minutes walk into Llangollen and lovely location where it was set.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, complete with an enormous flat-screen tv. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious and interesting food. Gales is centrally located in the town of Llangollen, which is incredibly charming, with plenty of opportunities for hiking nearby. Great overall experience.

Very friendly & informative welcome. We were promptly shown the guest dining room, bar and our bedroom. The location, accommodation, & grounds were much better than expected and very clean. -

The hotel was described in it's brochure as 'Luxury on the River Dee'...and it certainly was that! Our room was large, clean and had a balcony with fantastic views overlooking the river. I would definitely recommend booking one of the VIP rooms for the extra £20 or so. The staff on reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful and

The Cambrian is right in the middle of Llangollen...a 2 min walk from the main street. It has its own secure car park.
The owner was helpful and friendly and breakfast was good. OK the decor is a bid dated but NOT tatty/grubby, it's no boutique hotel but that was of no concern to me! The whole place is very clean and the bed was comfy.

The owners of Cambrian house are so welcoming and friendly with good knowledge of the surrounding areas. Breakfast was lovely and everything you coul possibly want if available There is no doubt that the building needs some attention, but for the cost an location it's well worth a stay.

My husband and I were going to a funeral the following day and wanted a peaceful place to stay.
We found all staff friendly, our room overlooked the river which made our stay tranquil. Nothing was too much for staff.
The breakfast was 5 star - excellent, hot, hot, hot. The staff in dining room were very efficient.
I would stay again for the location and the effeciency on requirements.
