  La façade, qui cache bien l'incompétence du personnel. - The whole experience - the setting of the hotel in a historical village, the old building itself sympathetically decorated and furnished, but particularly the attentiveness and polite friendliness of staff. The food was excellent and the afternoon tea an experience in itself. - We have been there many times, and the staff are always so welcoming, the food and service are great, it's near where we need to be in East Anglia, and we love it!!

  From the word go the experience, and you can call it that, was great. the staff were caring and nothing as too much. the table for the evening as all arranged. the young man showing me to the room was pleasant and able to get the points across. When it came to the food we were given enough time to consider everything and then order. Delivery a... ce que les gens disent » nd content were excellent and again the service was great. The following mornings breakfast was more of the same and at the end when I saw the bill - Travelled to Lavenham for a weekend break. It is a beautiful little town, steeped in history with pretty tudor buildings lining the streets. This Great House is set in the market square in the centre of the town and is a beutiful building in a wonderful setting. Our room was beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable and fully equiped with coffee machine & complimentary sherry! The icing on the cake is the hotel restaurant - the food is amazing! Make sure you book your table ahead

  The staff were helpful and friendy,we ate both lunch and dinner at the holtel and the quality on both occassions was superb. - very friendly and helpful staff

  The owners of The Swan Inn could not have made us feel more welcome and were so acommodating with mealtimes for our 17mth old. The room was comfortable and perfect size for us and had a little private garden for us to sit and for our toddler to run about. The evening meal was lovely and plentiful and the locals made us feel so welcome. Would highl... ce que les gens disent » y recommend this little gem B&B if you are looking for friendly and welcoming and want a nice countryside location. - Had a very tiring day, had to call the inn to get directions as we were having trouble finding it, someone talked us there over the phone, when we finally arrived, we were greeted , with smiles and jokes, our room was clean and comfortable, as it was late when we arrived , the owner made us meals, everything was very good . loved this inn, so freindly, and inviting. Thank- you for making, a long day, end on such a good note.
