  The location is great...right by the sea front and with easy access to the best areas of Brighton's dining and shopping. The old building used to be wine merchants and has a beautiful staircase and reception area. Our accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped...including the feather pillows that we had requested. The service from Baldo ... ce que les gens disent » on the front desk was great...although he was clearly too busy to cope with all demands and requests that were queuing for his attention. The bar staf - Everything about the stay was excellent, from the moment we dropped our bags off (earlier than check-in) to actually being shown the room (bed was so comfortable), to the bar and bistro. Found all staff excellent, very friendly and very helpful (recently back from Las Vegas where I stayed in a supposed luxury hotel! everything was the complete opposite too the Hotel du Vin). Both of us wished we had booked that extra day!

Very nice and friendly staff on both arrival and departure. Also great that you can park the car at the hotel for a daily rate. The hotel has a beautiful decor, our room had an amazing view, and was very specious. It also had a free standing bath next to the windows in the bedroom, 24 room service, which made our stay romantic and relaxing. Great value for money! Will be staying there again.
