Overall very good. Everything was really clean and the food in the bar is great and inexpensive, which is a plus if you don't want to have to find something else. They have a heated towel rack. Very friendly comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was very clean with pleasant, fresh decoration. Tapos bar had nice atmosphere and was obviously a popular venue in Lancaster. Our meal was good value for money. Quite well positioned, not so expensive. just the noise of the traffic outside, would have helped if the double glazing unit had been shut to the very top instead of half-way!. Room a little bit small. Traffic noise slightly irritating. TV has not been upgraded after recent digital changes. All very minor moans. I couldn't figure out the radiator, but that was my mistake, and it is a little noisy on the side by the road. I'd recommend being on the other side. Some traffic noise from nearby busy road. The toilet roll holder was situated in an impossible position in the bathroom!. Rumorous, quite "unstable" (buses, cars... passing on the near road caused the floor to oscillate), no lift, too near pubs and discoteaques.
