  The hotel is fantastic it has not been modernised like so many others, it has a personality and character of its own. I would reccomend it to anyone. The grounds are beautiful and situated next to a dairy farm.   The staff at the market inn hotel could not be faulted the hotel was nice for what we wanted. We suffered a breakdown on the way down to the hotel and thought we wouldn't make it for our booking, we called the hotel to inform them and they were happy enough to alter the booking if necessary! The food at the hotel was fantastic and worth t - I liked that it was a small hotel, it was clean comfortable and the staff were very attentive,the food was excellent and good value for money, we stayed on a Sat & Sun night and although they tell you about the noise due to weekend events, we heard very little noise and our room was at the front of the hotel.

  On arrival we received a friendly welcome from our host (Maggie) our room was warm and comfortable with an excellent en-suite, the bed and pillows were luxurious, tea and coffee with fresh milk and shortbread biscuits were provided in the room. The host went above and beyond for us. Views were fantastic and near by beautiful towns and villages. With a short drive to the coast it was perfect.
