When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of the pubs and the beauty of the village. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful during our entire stay. We loved the Porthpean Apartments as it was exactly what we look for
when travelling. Spacious and comfortable with excellent facilities with
everything you could possibly want provided. We were also provided with
scones, jam and clotted cream on arrival. The location was great; only 5

This light and airy apartment was really clean and comfortable. There was a sense of generosity and being cared for; the complimentary toiletries, plenty of soft towels and a cream tea to welcome us. We arrived hours before the check in time but having access to the apartment early was no problem. It all felt very relaxed and easy.

Staff were friendly from the minute we arrived, nothing too much
trouble. Our room was missed for servicing the second day. Receptionist
couldn't have been more apologetic and dealt with it straight away,
even though she was busy dealing with new arrivals, and working alone.
We would recommend this hotel to others and would definately return if
visiting Cornwall again. Well Done! St Austell Premier Inn. Only thing
that let the location down was the restaurant next door...... Not good,

All the contact we've had with Sally and James has been really helpful and friendly. The apartment iteself is immaculate - beautifully set out with plenty of space and all mod cons, and in a lovely location with pleasant views (you can actually see the sea!). Everything, the apartment was beautifully fitted, the kitchen had everything you needed if you were choosing to self cater. Good size, lovely and warm, spotless and with well tended communal areas. In all a great place to say. We will certainly return. Milk, orange juice, cereals etc were an added bonus.

Breakfast was lovely as was the room. Hosts were very welcoming and charming. A lovely house at a reasonable price and they accepted our budgie without any problem! -
John and Margot were perfect hosts, good size bedroom and ensuite, central location and close to the Eden Project. We would certainly recommend this B & B.
