I have stayed here once before, many years ago and I remember it was a good choice then. It was a good choice this time too. It is located in West Hove, which suited me for my purposes, but may not suit everyone. The room was clean, the staff welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again -

Everything about the stay was excellent, from the moment we dropped our bags off (earlier than check-in) to actually being shown the room (bed was so comfortable), to the bar and bistro.
Found all staff excellent, very friendly and very helpful (recently back from Las Vegas where I stayed in a supposed luxury hotel! everything was the complete opposite too the Hotel du Vin).
Both of us wished we had booked that extra day!

The lady, front of house, was extremely friendly, very professional and went out of her way to accomodate any queries we had about the hotel and, as importantly, the area. The owners were so friendly and let us bring our dog with us too. They could not have been more accommodating.
