  Lovely location with great sea views. Short walk into Southend itself or longer sea front walk to the very pretty Leigh on Sea. Lots of old pubs with great character here and the old famous "cockle sheds" for fresh sea food. Friendly helpful and informative staff. Brilliant buffet breakfast- lots of choice and food good quality and kept piping hot... ce que les gens disent » . Room lovely, quite elegant and very comfortable. Big ensuite- well equipped and lovely deep bath. - our room was spacious, clean and very comforable and had a wonderful view. the staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was perfect.

  Very helpful reception staff including the duty manager Thomaz I think? Helped us to our room as we had to carry our sleeping child. Was very helpful on the phone and friendly and nothing was too much trouble!! Also lady in the morning on the reception was helpful and lady at breakfast helpful and friendly towards us and our son. And best omelette... ce que les gens disent » ever eaten!!! - Excellent staff, I was alone with my 2 yr old boy and felt very looked after. The staff were extremely helpful and always willing to give little man a smile and a little chat. Will def stay again. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay. And excellent black out curtains little man slept in until 8:30 I haven't had a lie in like that for a long long time!! : )
