Le calme - The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym

We liked the spaciousness of the room and bathroom, the comfortable bed, the cleanliness and the friendly and helpful staff and good breakfasts. - I loved the hotel for the extremely friendly atmosphere when I arrived at the hotel. The reception staf where more than riebdly and helpful.

The booking got messed up, booked a superious suite, got given a twin,changed to a exec double at a reduced rate, promised free wine thatdidn't arrive and got a massive discount because of all the problems butStaff were very good at resolving these problems with no fuss so stillmade it a very enjoyable stay - whilst being a large hotel it retained

Good location, close to the West Quay, Train Station and a Cinema is
within 5 minutes walk. Guildhall is 10 -15 minutes walk away. Also have
a MacDonalds and tfi Friday's close by. Rooms are basic, clean and
ideal for a night or two can't fault.

The staff are the best ever experienced in a hotel. It is in a fantastic location, with lots of shops and bars/pubs within a minute or two walk.

Helpful, welcoming service.
The room was lovely. Clean, good layout, nicely and thoughtfully designed. Quality amenities, from hair dryer to hot drink selection, this hotel is really quite lux, but not over the top!
The restaurant was also lovely, good food, friendly service.

Extremely comfortable and well-appointed room. Bed and bedding were gorgeous quality. Shower room was top quality. Service attentive and personable. Restaurant was buzzing and relaxed- make sure you book! Parking spot great ( again - book ahead.) I knew when I booked that rooms overlooked Red Funnel ferry dock on busy road. At the Meon the staf really shone, Holly who was our waitress in the evening was excellent, we felt very special, Tania was equally fantastic who looked after us at breakfast. The reception staff were also helpful and found us dressing gowns without question, well done great service all round. Food was excellent as was the service everywhere. This

This is a great Hotel. samall enough to be wecolming but with a real touch of quality about the whole place, I have used it twice now to stay on business trips in and around the Romesy / Southampton area. The Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are of an very high specification and the food is good gastropub type fayre. Highly reco

The staff, paticularly the Manageress, were professional and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and well-designed.
letsbookhotel.com hand not passed on our reservation to the hotel, so they weren't expecting us. However, the Manageress handled the situation exceptionally well and gave us an upgraded room as a result.
