Excellent value for money. (An added bonus was its location alongside the grammar school I attended 1943-48 which I hadn't seen since then!) - We were attending a local wedding and all the staff were very helpful providing directions and information regarding the venue.

Excellent service by the hotel staff. They were all very friendly and attentive. The hotel is the city centre so an excellent location. The room was nicely decorated with a flat screen tv and free wireless internet. - The room was excellent value for money, very spacious and the bed was very comfortable

Although there is limited Parking (60 spaces) do not let this put you off. It is superbly placed for City Centre attractions including the 02 Acadamy (300metres).Friendly Staff. Excellent little traditional Inn, with ultra-friendly staff with eight real Ales on tap, four of which are brewed in the micro-brewery downstairs. The staff were really helpful at all times, and on one occasion when I had a problem (completely unrelated to the hotel) they went out of their way to help me sort it out. the ease of how we booked and felt safe to just turn up and get a service which we trusted.
when we arrived we felt @ home in our stay.
it was a short vacation in between properties of buying a new dream home.
we will now have long memory's from our stay.
