Brilliant staff - consumate professionals and very friendly; they could not have been more helpful despite the ungodly hour at which we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be back again. Amazing breakfast (loved the free food for under 16s) and wonderfully comfy beds. I recently stayed in the Hilton in York and I have to be honest, I came
away feeling ripped off. It nearly put me off trying the Hilton again. I

I can honestly say that this was my best hotel experience ever! And I have traveled extensively in Asia and Europe. I stayed at the Double Tree at the Newcastle Airport because I had an early flight the next morning. My kids and I enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant before they headed back home to Durham. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The room was perfect.

On our outgoing night we had a very poor nights sleep due to noisy neighbours but the staff were very sympathetic and refunded the cost of our stay. Incoming we had an excellent nights sleep and lovely breakfast, again the staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you all -

A 5 minutes à pied du terminal, et restaurant excellent. Wifi Gratuit.Hotel tres pratique pour des voyageurs , un peu moins pour les sejourslongue durée - Proximité avec l'aéroport de Newcastle (on peut y aller à pied). Métrotrès pratique pour aller au centre de Newcastle.

In particular the menu and staff in Scalinis was excellent! - Staff friendliness, clean comfortable room, considerate chambermaid who left towels outside room when do not disturb sign was placed, the night porter who is always patient despite the behaviour he has to cope with,and the considerate nature of the reception staff when we overstayed our visit by not realoising check out was an hour earlier on Sundays.

I was pleasantly surprised. Having stayed st the chain before and not had a good experience but this one was very clean, well furnished (almost new), with lovely staff and the breakfast at the Beefeater next door was fantastic. I was visiting family in the area so it was perfect.
I couldn't fault it and will definitely go back. -
