Stayed here for three weeks for business purposes and have to admit that after the three week period it felt like family. Hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful (contrary to what other people say), always willing to help and offer directions/advice etc.

greeted by lovely staff who assisted our check in. Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Tea and coffee....pub two minutes from hotel, airport 5 minutes from hotel. Early morning call prompt, greeted again in the morning and wished well on our holidyas...Lenny was so right..........perfect....x

I took my girlfriend away for the weekend, and we had an amazing time. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the facilities are very modern and clean. The grounds are well kept and I proposed to my girlfriend in the rock garden, which looks like something straight out of a fantasy film. I would absolutely recommend this hote

Wonderful historic building and rooms. Lovely setting. Wernher restaurant is quite exceptional. Golf course massive. Clay pigeon shooting top. Highly recommended as a historic and luxurious weekend.
However I think you need to be in the main building - you wouldn't want to be in the modern block - no matter how sympathetically designed. That would eliminate the whole point of the experience.

An Old fashioned "Pub" with an outstanding range of beer on tap - good food - and nice people to drink with - Everything worked as it should, staff were friendly. Woudl definitely go back.

Le confort, l'ambiance, l'accueil - It was very close to shopping centre and so convenient especially during the wet weather. Staff were very helpful, polite, efficient and happy to help. I requested extra pillows,and theye arrived within 15mins. Disabled Parking and facilities were excellent. Will be using again!!!!!!! - Easy to locate off the M1. Stayed Sunday night for Monday flight from Luton Airport. Good rooms, clean and comfortable.

Room was very quiet being on the side away from the A5, which to be fair was reasonably quiet at the weekend. The new booking-in system seemed to work well until the entry of credit card details when you needed to switch to a smaller somewhat hidden screen. -
