friendly welcome from the owners,superb setting with wonderful views,excellent breakfast each morning,the whole house friendly,homely, welcoming and spotlessly clean,beautifully decorated and equipped bedrooms,nothing too much trouble from our hosts - a genuine privelidge to have stayed there. -

A picturesque, peaceful place. Large tasteful bedroom, beautifully furnished. Fabulous bathroom/wet room. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt like we were staying with the owners in their own home rather than paying guests. Breakfast was first class. Can not recommend Sandown House highly enough. -

Lovely friendly service and fantastic food in the fine dining restaurant. It finds the balance between luxury and comfort really nicely. Not too posh, but very polished and welcoming. The double bed was also a good size and very comfortable. The surroundings with sea view and flowered gardens were spectacular.

Everything about this guest house was fantastic. The couple running the place were very friendly and helpful. The room we had was spacious, cosy and clean. Only five minutes walk to some great restaurants and venues. And the breakfast is amazing! -

The apartment was amazing! Spotlessly clean, lovely furnishings and decor, very comfortable and very relaxing, which is exactly what we were looking for. The complimentary breakfast pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. I felt very safe and secure and would definitely stay here again. -
