  We were looking for a convenient hotel to stay the night before a flight from Bristol airport. There was no noise to be heard from the airport, which is surprising as it is only a mile away. From the moment of booking, the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Even going above and beyond expectations. The accommodation was superb. We would highly recommend - Fantastic find. Even though they had only been up and running for one month, everything was spot on. We stayed in the family room - spotless, beautifully decorated, lovely underfloor heating, and extremely well equipped. Great views, and would be perfect for Bristol airport. The kitchen /sitting room was an added bonus, owners extremely friendly, and even tea/coffee/breakfast food was provided - not sure why anyone would want to stay in a hotel after this.

  The Battleaxes is a nice and friendly place to stay. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The food was very nice and the breakfast kept you going for most of the day. Even the local residents were friendly. The bathroom facilities are excellent and a must see. SS Great Britain - just a few minutes away from Harbourside Apartment. Free Museum of great interest at M Shed - just walking distance of apartment. Very compact kitchen equipment if needed. - Good location very close to ss Brittannia exhibition. Very close to riverside attractions. All in walking distance. Room was spotless and to a good 4* standard suite. We had a small problem that was immediately resolved by the management without any fuss or bother - a definite plus point!
