We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see.
The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

The hotel is very close to Taksim Square where you can find various transportation means to other parts of the city.

Room were nice, not that big but cozy. Good wifi in room ( we even saw movies on-line)

Very very nice location really. Safe and quiet but walking distance to anything one may need. Aircon functionning beautifully so is the wifi. Staff very friendly and helpful. Flats are huge as compared to a hotel room and have dishwasher, washer, dryer, oven, micro even a hydro-tub in bathroom! A mercedes van picked us up and delivered to property. From start to finish, all was haned extremely professionally. Do recommend it to all!

This was like a breath of fresh air as I had experienced difficulty with another hotel called best Nobel And Nobel hotel so was beginning to think Istanbul was not good for solo female travellers!!! I have booked again for 6 nights in February so I can fully experience the hotel's fine hospitality
