  The staff was amazing, happened to be there during the riots on taksim square and the staff was very professional, reassuring ang accommodating. Also it was great to be in an area less touristic than the famous sultanamet and we discovered a lot by just wandering around the beyoglu area. Being in Taksim, you are close to everything for shopping, sight seeing, and futbol.

Location is great - just on the corner with one of the main shopping streets of Istambul - the Istiklal street - and only 45 minutes walk from the Agia Sophia and the Blue Mosque (or 10 minutes by tram). Room was cosy, clean and comfortable.
