  It's very conveniently located for the Sunnegga/Rothorn funicular and Gornergrat train. The staff were very kind and helpful to my elderly parents. Excellent buffet breakfast - really very good for this category of hotel. The pine bar area and restaurant are simply and attractively styled.   Zermatt was the first place we visited in Switzerland and it was the best experience we had in Swiss. The hotel is 10 mins walk from the station and we were very tired as we were travelled to Zermatt from Paris and also we had lot of luggage to carry from Station to hotel. They were kind enough to provide me with full information on train schedule and timing from Visp to Zermatt (that was very helpful indeed). As the first room we checked into did not have a view of the Matterhorn, with Raymond and Gerald's assistance, our room was changed for the second evening of our stay, which had an incredible view of the Matterhorn!
