We loved the hotel and the location. The staff was very friendly and unquestionably efficient. The spa was first rate with an amazing pool, Jacuzzi and a northern style sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed this aspect. We made full use of the kitchen facility since we were a couple with 6 (hungry!)college age kids. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen. The staff in the Arcare building were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning and maintenance were punctual and efficient.

1 min walking distance from train station. Spacious room with a couzy sofa and an armchair, huge balcony for a five o'clock tea; nicely designed bathroom with a window. Slippers/bath gown. Swmming pool, sauna, solarium - all very nice.

Zermatt was the first place we visited in Switzerland and it was the best experience we had in Swiss. 1. When we asked for suggestions about hiking plan as we arrived, the counter(maybe the hostess) gave us very useful information, to adjust our schedule, and let us have very excellent experience in Zermatt.
2. I really love their restaurant! When I get up, with a very nice breakfast in a cozy and clean place, made me a great start of every day when I stayed there (My room is also clean and cozy J).

A special word of thanks to Raymond and Gerald - the reception staff at the Hotel Alpenhof Superior. As the first room we checked into did not have a view of the Matterhorn, with Raymond and Gerald's assistance, our room was changed for the second evening of our stay, which had an incredible view of the Matterhorn! We could not have been happier!

The interior design done with great taste and creating very warm and cosy ambience.
The staff is very friendly, the rooms are kept clean. They accept dogs. The pool area and the spa is cosy and very comfortable. I am definetely returning back. -
