Centrally located, the hotel is recently renovated. The receptionist speaks good English and is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and tastefully appointed, featuring even a jacuzzi bathtub. We had a superior suit with a magnicent view of the hills. Two-thumbs up. -

Hotel Bernina1865 is definitely the best hotel during our visit in Switzerland. My dad and I were planned to stay in St.Moritz; however, we found it too expensive to stay there. The family receptionists! When we arrived dogged tired at 10pm, we were greeted warmly by the elder of the Stamatakis brothers and shown to our nice, comfortable and warm looking room. We were very surprised by the gesture because this is the first time happening for us since we are in a budget tour. The hotel is modern looking yet retain the feel of the past. By Swiss standards really good value for money. The room was of an average size with a brand new bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and very good and the dinner in the restaurant upon arrival was delicious. Full satisfaction. -

We were welcome by a team of wonderful staff going out of their way to make us feel comfortable - they even supplied us with an additional room free of charge because ther was no twin room left for an elderly couple travelling with us. The staff greeted me so nicely. I was participating in the Engadin Radmarathon the next morning and a breakfast was ready at the correct time for me and all the others participating.
