We liked the simplicity and cleanliness of the room; and we appreciated the fact that we could have a simple but tasty meal in the lounge area, which was pleasant and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. -

Rénové en 2015, l'Hotel Untertor occupe un bâtiment historique datant du XVIe siècle sur la place du marché d'Altstätten. Toutes les chambres sont munies d'une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite.

Surprising to have Indian restaurant within the hotel which was
delicious. Fits perfectly into everyone's budget which makes
accomodation in swiss affordable. Nearby, Hotel Sonne looks good but
lacks the feel. Bad restaurant and high price for rooms. -

It's a lovely hotel on an inlet on Bodensee (Lake Constance). We had the least expensive room and thought it was perfect. They say our room was not yet remodeled but we could not tell what was not remodeled. The hotel is also in a quaint village off the beaten path a bit. We were really happy with the experience. -
The junior suite was fabulous.

shower room. Cherub finials on the bed were a nice touch. Just wish we
could have read the German tribute on the wall!! The staff was attentive
and the dinners were outstanding. A credit to the Romantik Hotel Group.

We had a room on the lakeside so the view was great. Our room was very quiet and well appointed. Breakfast and dinner was very good, a coffee machine near the rooms was a nice addition. Our bicycles were locked in a garage. Friendly staff are what travellers look for at the end of a long day, Alexandra and all her staff made us feel very welcome.

Without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have stayed in! The staff were so friendly and helpful at all times. The food on the half board deal was gourmet cuisine - truly delicious and they were happy to cater for my wife with gluten free meals. Good value for money - especially for Switzerland. Hotel Cristal is perfectly situated for ski/snowboard holidays in Flumserberg (which is a lovely resort with plenty of intermediate slopes that kept us busy on our long weekend there) The staff couln't have been more helpful and the food was a good standard. The beds were comfortable and the light bedlinen and towels were pleasant. Overall we spent 3 great nights there.
