We liked very much the layout of the B&B. The kitchen had everything you could need and the children were delighted to find satellite TV in their bedroom. Rooms were clean and tidy. The owners (Rolf and Nicole) were very friendly and attentive. Location was great, being close to the city but quiet enough to sleep at night. -

I highly recomend staying with the Amparo guest house.
The staff is incredible, caring and will make sure your stay is as perfect as possible.
We arrived quite late in the evening and only stayed for one night due to our flight leaving the next day. Upon arrival we were tired and hungry. The staff kindly offered to take us into town to get supplie

The room was clean, comfortable and modern. It had everything you could possibly need and more. -
I highly recommend staying at Amparo's, the hosts were really friendly and helpful providing good info on what to do and how to get around Basel. I was given a mobility/tram card to use during my stay in Basel which was really helpful.
There are only two rooms sharing one bathroom and I was lucky enough to have the whole apartment to myself for a couple of days. There is a full kitchen for meals and a great deck and garden to enjoy summer mornings/evenings making it feel more like a home away f
